-i mean like most time when i turn tv on i never see anyone deaf who doing sport like football cricket boxing etcs and i just wonder is deaf allowed to do professional sport with mainstream people ? beacuse i want becoming famous i believe i got talentThere are rare instances of people who are deaf and in sports, but for many sports, the players and coaches communicate through speech. Imagine you're playing football and you've caught the ball but aren't sure where to go. The coach on the sideline would be yelling to you where to go and without you looking, you go that direction. Being deaf means a slower reaction time within the game.
However, there are associations designed specifically for the deaf community (such as the Pan American Deaf Sports Association). Like I mentioned before, there are rare instances of deaf athletes in professional sports. Curtis Pride was a deaf professional baseball player. Kenny Walker was a deaf professional football player (there's a book about it called "Roar of Silence: The Kenny Walker Story") and lastly Terrence Parkin, a deaf Olympic (Australian) swimmer.
The most important part of becoming a professional athlete is that regardless of (whether you're deaf or not) putting in 110% effort and determination and a stubbornness to the word "No". You just need to love the game and do your best to be the best, without worrying about becoming famous or rich and you'll be successful. Best of luck to you!
