Can guitar players always use 2 finger powerchords?

-I've been playing guitar for over 2 years , and I always use 2 finger powerchords.

For example

----------------------------------------鈥?br>
-------------------5--------------------鈥?br>
-------------------3--------------------鈥? That is a 2 finger powerchord.



Most guitarists use 3 finger powerchords. I'm worried if im playing chords wrong. Is it ok for guitarists to use 2 finger powerchords all the time?You mean like this? 3 5 5 X X X?



Because you can play that with two or three fingers.



Let me ask you something: does it sound different? Yes, it does. So that means that you make the decision regarding how you want to play it based on the sound you're looking for.
i suppose it doesnt change the tonality. but u mite as well learn the 3 finger...its pretty easy
