What are the steps that you need to take to be able to perform on the same stage with a celebrity?

-There is this singer on youtube (he's not really a celebrity yet but he's working his way up), Joseph Vincent, that I would like to sing with. He's only a year older than me and he's in the US while I'm in Canada. All of my family and friends tell me I sing really good and now I want to be able to share this talent with the rest of the world via performing with Joseph Vincent.



What are some ways in which I'd be able to achieve this goal? Joining singing contests? Posting video responses to his videos on youtube?
