How much does a good quality drum set cost?

-I'm starting up a band, and my drummer needs a drumset, I was just wondering where we can go to get a drum set. Does guitar center have good drum sets? Would you recommend an electronic drum set? I just want a basic drum set as well. And we'll probably add on to it later. Please if you can, answer all these questions! Oh and if you can tell me, what do you think the total cost would be for just a good quality basic drum set? Thank you!
